Coronavirus appeared as a global pandemic for the 21st century. The world economy has come to a standstill and that is having an effect on every citizen on this planet today. People are not working. They are compelled to the lockdown because of the spread of COVID-19 that will impact on food security. The economic fallout from this pandemic poses a particular risk to developing countries because people in developing nations spend a higher proportion of their incomes on food. Many poor countries find the economic impact more devastating than the disease. Many nations are stockpiling reserves of food by banning exports and starts locking up all the ports for export. The current pandemic has brought health crisis not a food crisis but if the government closing the facets of exports then this health crisis will become a food crisis.
