Political Equity incorporates rights such as universal Adult Franchise and other civil rights which are important in a democratic country. The following is a research paper on ‘Communism and the Pursuit of Political Equality’. This paper focuses on the idea of communism and political equity in India. The paper also focuses on the extent of influence of communist ideology incorporated into the rights under political equality. The paper also focuses in detail on the History of Communism in India, Universal Adult Franchise, Equality of Opportunity with regards to Political Equality, and the issues faced under these rights.
