The following is a brief case analysis of the case titled New Delhi Municipal Corporation v. State of Punjab [CIVIL APPEAL NO. 1388 – 1390]. These special leave petition have been filed against the judgement and order of the Delhi High Court dated March 14, 1975. The appellant in all these matters is the New Delhi Municipal Committee. The respondents are the Union of India and the state of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Kerala, Tripura, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Haryana and Punjab. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi appears as an intervener.
